Proact introduces user-friendly storage architecture to fuel growth

Reynaers, a leading European specialist in aluminum solutions for construction, faced significant challenges with its existing storage infrastructure. The system had limited capacity, was complex to manage, and required expensive external consultants for maintenance. As their IT maintenance contract was due to expire, the company approached vendor Proact to find a new, more user-friendly solution to support its growth.

Proact implemented a Pure Storage ActiveCluster all-flash system, which was installed quickly via a plug-and-play Proof of Concept. The solution provided Reynaers with a scalable, high-availability platform featuring excellent deduplication and compression, reducing data from 10 GB to 2.63 GB. The results eliminated capacity issues, gave the IT team full control, and created a highly cost-effective operational model, with Proact providing critical support throughout the process.
