How mobile forms have enhanced VINCI’s EHS management

VINCI Construction UK, part of the global VINCI group, needed to improve near-miss and positive intervention reporting across a largely paper-based, transient workforce to reduce accident frequency and capture input from employees, subcontractors, clients and the public. To meet this challenge they selected Pro-Sapien and its HSEQ Innovate platform with Pro-Forma Touch mobile form technology for seamless Office 365/SharePoint integration and easy-to-use reporting.

Pro-Sapien delivered responsive, QR-code accessed mobile forms (Pro-Forma Touch) so users could report incidents without installing an app, enabling faster processing, a single data collation point and immediate EHS intervention. The rollout (from 2012, major launch 2014) drove increased reporting and better-quality data — averaging about ten notifications per operation per week — allowed VINCI to spot recurring hazards and refine prevention, and earned Pro-Sapien recognition in VINCI’s 2013 and 2015 Innovation Awards.
