The Federation of Industries of the State of Minas Gerais (FIEMG) faced the challenge of achieving and maintaining compliance with Brazil's General Data Protection Law (LGPD) across its complex system of associated entities, websites, and portals. To address this, they contracted the vendor Privacy Tools through a bidding process to implement their specialized data privacy and protection software.

Privacy Tools implemented several of its modules, including Consent Management, Cookie Management, and a dedicated service channel for data subject requests. Within the first 60 days, the solutions for managing portals and websites were operational, enabling FIEMG to securely handle LGPD requests and ensure transparency for data subjects. This provided a secure and transparent framework to support the federation's ongoing technological evolution.
