Babygear, a Danish mom & baby e‑commerce retailer founded in 2009, faced the challenge of manually tracking competitors’ prices in an increasingly aggressive market. To automate and optimize pricing, Babygear adopted Prisync, leveraging Prisync’s Magento integration and Dynamic Pricing module to automatically reprice products and manage special-price attributes.
Prisync’s automated crawling and Magento-based dynamic repricing enabled Babygear to set pricing rules that adjusted prices up or down and visibly show genuine discounts, with reliable data collection that avoids blocks. Using Prisync, Babygear doubled (100% increase) sales for a tracked brand and recovered sales on previously slow-moving product ranges by correcting mispricing.
