The Ohio State University Spine Research Institute required a wearable device, the Conity Motion Kit, to detect and track spinal impairments but needed expertise in developing the physical hardware. They partnered with Priority Designs to lead the development of the hard and soft goods systems, overcoming challenges with an early prototype that was bulky and difficult for clinicians to use.

Priority Designs provided a full suite of services, including branding, design, and engineering. They redesigned the sensors, comfortable harnesses, and a smaller carrying case with a custom charging station. This collaboration resulted in a high-quality, manufacturable system that led to fewer user errors, positive feedback, and additional funding for the client.
