New Relic, an application performance management company, faced a common funnel problem: lots of signups but not enough prospects installing the New Relic agent to become sales‑ready leads. They partnered with Printfection to run a “Data Nerd” t‑shirt incentive, using Printfection’s giveaway/redemption service and Marketo integration to turn passive signups into motivated deployers.
Printfection integrated its API with New Relic’s systems (and Marketo/Salesforce), automated generation of unique redemption codes, and handled printing and fulfillment so deployed users received an email with a one‑time t‑shirt redemption link. The campaign increased New Relic’s marketing‑qualified leads by 30% and helped double their customer base in less than a year.
