Thompson Tractor Company, a family-owned Caterpillar dealer with more than 1,500 employees across 27 locations, struggled with a sprawling print environment that relied on nine print servers. By rolling out PrinterLogic, Thompson Tractor centralized print management, began removing print servers and enabled a self-service portal so users can install printers without IT assistance. The company gained real-time SNMP monitoring and reporting, has already eliminated two servers across five sites, greatly reduced deployment issues and help-desk volume, and expects significant ROI as deployment continues company-wide.
