Pioneer Technology, a Chattanooga-based managed services provider supporting healthcare, banking and retail customers, faced a major printing headache with a long-term post-acute care (LTPAC) client that manages about 40 nursing homes. The Citrix/EMR environment relied on five centralized print servers, producing driver conflicts, duplicated printers, slow WAN printing and roughly 20% of incoming support tickets, undermining service delivery and operational simplicity.

Pioneer deployed PrinterLogic to consolidate printing pools, enable direct‑IP printing and use dynamic, IP‑scope deployments across a 330‑printer fleet, then moved to the PrinterCloud SaaS offering to align with a cloud‑first strategy. The change eliminated single points of failure, improved EMR compatibility and printing speed, streamlined help‑desk operations, and drove print‑related tickets down to almost zero (about five of 750 monthly tickets), while adding measurable value to Pioneer’s managed services.
