Strata Information Technology, an MSP in Encino, CA, supports small- and mid-sized businesses with standardized, remotely managed IT. One 180‑person healthcare client experienced unreliable printer deployments for roaming users, generating up to ~100 print-related tickets per month and high, uncontrolled color-printing costs—so Strata needed a scalable, centralized print-management solution to cut tickets and reduce printing spend.

Strata deployed PrinterLogic’s AD/subnet-aware and terminal-service printer deployments plus centralized driver/profile management, immediately halving ticket volume and ultimately reducing print tickets from ~90–100/month to about five (≈95% reduction). The MSP removed physical print servers, rolled PrinterLogic out to 10 clients across 18 locations, used reporting and profiles to default printing to black‑and‑white (saving hundreds monthly), reclaimed roughly half an FTE of support time, and gained a scalable USP to add value to service tiers.
