Children’s Bureau, Inc. Eliminates Print Servers and Simplifies Citrix Printing with PrinterLogic

Children’s Bureau, Inc. is a nonprofit social services agency with 18 offices and several hundred employees who frequently move between locations. Its small three-person IT help desk struggled with a high volume of printer support tickets caused by a complex print-server backbone and Citrix XenApp driver conflicts, which disrupted day-to-day work and access to the agency’s EMR system.

By deploying PrinterLogic’s centralized management and intuitive self-service portal (including visual floor plans), the agency eliminated local print servers, enabled direct IP printing, and centralized drivers in a single repository. End users now install printers themselves, Citrix printing (including the TIER EMR) is far more reliable, and printer-related tickets have fallen to just one or two per month—freeing IT time and reducing hardware and support costs.
