Case Study: Aon achieves global print standardization and 24,000-user migration with PrinterLogic

A PrinterLogic Case Study

Preview of the Aon Case Study

Aon Improves Efficiencies Using PrinterLogic

Aon (following its merger with Hewitt Associates) faced a fragmented print environment—mixes of unmanaged direct IP printing, Windows shares and Novell iPrint—across dozens of offices worldwide. The company needed a simple, web‑based, centrally managed solution to stabilize printing in 40 Canadian offices, standardize print services across acquisitions and domains, and migrate users from Novell to Microsoft Active Directory while supporting secure printing requirements.

Aon implemented PrinterLogic with Aon Global Printers (AGP) to deliver centrally managed direct‑IP printing and a self‑service printer interface. The rollout enabled cross‑domain printing, converted 24,000 users across 100 offices, supported universal (uniFLOW) and native drivers from one interface, cut support calls and server hardware, and scaled to hundreds of offices and tens of thousands of users company‑wide.
