Teriyaki Madness, a fast-casual Asian restaurant franchise, struggled with a manual, paper-based process for collecting monthly P&L statements—only nine locations were using ProfitKeeper by PrimePay despite having the tool since 2016. Assistant Controller Misti Hunt spent hours each month chasing emails, printing binders, and manually reconciling data, which made it difficult to ensure P&L accuracy, benchmark locations, or engage franchisees on profitability.

PrimePay rolled out ProfitKeeper by PrimePay across the franchise network, mapping the chart of accounts, automating P&L submissions and delinquent reminders, and providing dashboards and benchmarking for coaches and franchisees. As a result, over 90% of franchisees now submit P&Ls (only 11 of 130 remain), the assistant controller reclaimed multiple hours per week, coaches get faster, actionable reports, franchisee engagement improved, and overall Texas profitability is estimated to have risen 4–5%.
