REWE Kesper + Rode OHG, a supermarket in Witten, Germany, needed to eliminate pricing mismatches between shelf labels and the POS system, especially on Mondays when weekly prices changed. Before working with Pricer, customers often saw outdated shelf prices and faced surprises at checkout, while staff spent significant time printing and attaching paper labels.

Pricer implemented electronic shelf labeling (ESL) across the store, starting with an initial rollout and later upgrading to second-generation graphical labels during a 2011 renovation, with Digipos Store Solutions GmbH as the implementation partner. The solution keeps shelf and POS prices synchronized, speeds up price updates with just a few clicks, reduces errors and manual labor, and improves stock management across 8,500 ESLs and four label models.
