NISA Increasing efficiency and revolutionising customer experience

Nisa Local, the UK’s leading member-owned retail organisation, wanted to improve pricing accuracy and customer experience in its 2,200-square-foot Shrewsbury convenience store while minimising disruption to trading. To do this, the store replaced paper shelf labels with Pricer’s electronic shelf label (ESL) solution.

Pricer implemented 2,000 standard and customised ESLs using a phased overnight installation, allowing prices and product information to be updated wirelessly and instantly from the back-end system. The result was faster price changes, fewer errors, improved staff productivity, stronger promotion capabilities, and better customer service, with up to 90,000 updates per hour supporting price integrity across the store.
