Grand Opening of First DIY with 100% ESL

Busy Beaver, a neighborhood home improvement center with more than 24 locations across Pennsylvania, Ohio, and West Virginia, opened a new 55,000 sq. ft. flagship store and wanted greater pricing accuracy and a more advanced in-store experience. Pricer provided electronic shelf labels (ESLs) to support the store’s fully digital approach.

Using Pricer’s ESL solution, Busy Beaver became the first home improvement center in the United States to fully deploy electronic shelf labels across the floor, with about 30,000 labels installed. The system updates pricing in real time and can flash item locations for picking or putback, helping associates work more efficiently and spend more time on customer service.
