How Price2Spy helped HD Tools to have an overview of pricing by using different widgets

HD-Tools, a leading Dutch online retailer of professional power tools, faced the challenge of monitoring about 100 products (many with unique serial numbers) across roughly 20 key competitors while its product range was rapidly expanding — making manual price analysis time-consuming and threatening its promise to remain among the cheapest. To address this, HD-Tools recently subscribed to Price2Spy and uses its Reports and Dashboard widgets for price monitoring.

Price2Spy provided product matching by serial numbers (HD-Tools chose manual matching rather than Automatch), plus several Dashboard widgets that show pricing dynamics and the share of cheapest products; HD-Tools reports that price monitoring became much simpler and now has a clear overview to focus on key competitors. With Price2Spy, HD-Tools can monitor ~100 SKUs across ~20 competitors more efficiently and has identified further opportunities to apply Pricing Strategies (notably the Clever raise) to improve margins and competitiveness.
