US Car Part Dealer, a retailer with nearly 50,000 SKUs in a niche market, needed to monitor competitor pricing despite having few competitors, ambiguous MPNs (for example “500”) that risked mismatches, and infrequent price changes. They engaged Price2Spy and its Automatch capability to tackle the scale and data-quality challenges.

Price2Spy implemented Automated product matching (Automatch) that combined MPNs with linguistic-proximity matching, deployed a Price2Spy Basic account to enable CSV product imports, and provided a Price Matrix report exported to Excel for the US Car Part Dealer to import competitor prices into their own system for adjustments.
