Bokus, one of the leading online book sellers in the Nordics, faced eroding margins across its assortment, difficulty deciding when to follow competitors, an outdated scraping solution, no campaign support, and blunt automated pricing on tail products. To address these challenges, Bokus engaged PriceEdge to deploy a dynamic pricing platform and competitive scraping service.

PriceEdge implemented complete dynamic pricing across 14 million active books, daily scraping of 600,000 competitor titles, attribute-based segmentation and pricing, automated pricing for tail products, and campaign workflows. As a result, PriceEdge helped Bokus move from monthly to daily competitor response and delivered measurable profit gains: a 0.7% EBIT improvement on new books and a 2.3% margin improvement on tail products.
