Case Study: The Law Society of Scotland achieves increased conference centre corporate bookings with Priava

A Priava Case Study

Preview of the Law Society of Scotland Case Study

The Law Society of Scotland relies on Priava to increase corporate bookings for conference centre

The Law Society of Scotland operates the Atria Conference Centre in central Edinburgh and, after opening its new venue in November 2015, needed a professional booking system to maximise occupancy and develop external commercial hire alongside its internal events. To address this challenge the Law Society of Scotland selected Priava’s cloud-based venue and event management solution to manage larger volumes of both internal and external bookings.

Priava implemented a centralised cloud booking platform with repeat-booking functionality, provisional holds, automated invoicing and built‑in reporting (including occupancy and aged-debtor reports). As a result Priava has helped the Law Society of Scotland identify provisional leads for marketing campaigns, better utilise and split spaces for increased sellable capacity, streamline billing and debt recovery, and support new revenue—currently an 80/20 split of internal to commercial events with plans to grow commercial bookings.
