Penrith City Council manages more than 45,000 venue bookings per annum using Priava’s cloud based system

Penrith City Council, a regional city council west of Sydney that manages dozens of community centres, sporting fields and leisure facilities, faced a critical challenge when their on‑premise venue and events system (in place since 2003) reached end of life. Concerned about downtime and safe data migration, the council selected Priava’s cloud‑based Events & Bookings solution to replace their legacy system and ensure continuity of service.

Priava migrated the council’s data, delivered training and went live in June 2015; the cloud system now supports more than 45,000 venue bookings per year.
