Palmerston North City Council upgrades to cloud technology leading to optimised event management across all its venues

Palmerston North City Council, which operates multiple venues including the Palmerston North Convention Centre and Arena Manawatū and handles around 3,000 bookings a year, faced the challenge of centralising venue and event management and bringing outdated, disparate systems into the 21st century (the Convention Centre was using a pencil-and-diary system while the Arena used end-of-life Events Perfect software).
