Aaron’s, Inc. Safeguards Its Applications with Prevoty Autonomous Application Protection

Aaron’s, Inc., the Atlanta-based omni-channel lease-purchase company, needed to secure highly customized applications without slowing its aggressive, continuous development cycles. It turned to Prevoty for a runtime application self-protection solution that could fit its agile culture and support DevSecOps practices.

With Prevoty, Aaron’s aligned developers and security teams on application requirements, then used the platform to enable testing, tuning, troubleshooting, and security logging through Splunk. The company said Prevoty gave it stronger visibility and real-time defense against known and zero-day attacks, helped it move faster with deployments, and reduced the effort needed to support protection compared with a WAF, which it said could require two full-time staff members versus two hours a week from one staff member for Prevoty.
