Vertically integrated eyewear retailer improves their focus on third-party risk management with Prevalent

Global Eyewear Company, a global, vertically integrated eyewear retailer formed in 2018 with more than 190,000 employees, 200 e-commerce platforms, 18,000 stores and a network of 300,000 third‑party retailers across 150 countries, faced a fragmented third‑party risk program in its Americas unit. That team had been running a manual TPRM process using SmartSheet‑based questionnaires and struggled to merge vendor lists after the merger, lacked coverage of thousands of suppliers, and did not have the bandwidth to remediate identified risks effectively.

To address this, Global Eyewear Company implemented Prevalent’s Third‑Party Risk Management Platform and engaged Prevalent’s Risk Operations Center managed services. Prevalent expanded vendor coverage with a broader survey library (including NIST, ISO, Privacy, HIPAA), enabled continuous monitoring across the Americas, improved reporting, and outsourced remediation tasks to the ROC—delivering “massive” time savings for the team, more consistent remediation, and a fully scaled TPRM program that the company plans to roll out to other regions.
