Scherzer International, a global provider of background screening and due diligence reports, pursued ISO 27001 certification and discovered it needed better third‑party vendor risk management—capable of monitoring an ecosystem that ranges from Microsoft‑scale suppliers to single‑person court runners. To address this, Scherzer selected Prevalent and its TPRM Platform and Vendor Risk Assessment Services to streamline vendor questionnaires and ongoing monitoring.

Prevalent implemented its platform and managed services (via the Prevalent Risk Operations Center) to centralize assessments, retain responses year‑to‑year, and simplify the process for small and large vendors alike. As a result, Scherzer gained full insight into operational risk across its supplier base, limited active assessments to just five at a time for closer support of small suppliers, strengthened internal compliance skills, and used the Prevalent solution to demonstrate vendor controls that helped open doors with larger customers.
