Statistical Analysis and Predictive Analytics Allocate Resources to Citizens While Planning For Growth

The City of Almere, one of the fastest-growing cities in the Netherlands, needed a better way to manage citizen services as its population expanded and manual allocation processes began to strain. Presidion helped the city address this challenge using IBM SPSS Statistics and IBM SPSS Modeler to improve resource planning and service delivery.

Presidion implemented statistical analysis and predictive analytics to combine data from 21 sources, quickly matching residents to the benefits and subsidies they were eligible for while forecasting future growth scenarios. The results included a 75% reduction in reporting time, better identification of over-served and under-served citizens, and stronger planning decisions to allocate resources more effectively.
