Telekom Romania partnered with Presidion to build its advanced analytical capability and launch a first pilot project that could demonstrate value to clients. The challenge was to stand out in the telecom market by offering analytics as a value-added service, while also training the team on best practices and IBM SPSS Modeler.

Presidion implemented a text analytics solution using IBM SPSS Modeler, along with knowledge transfer and coaching across the CRISP-DM process. The pilot uncovered 30 business themes from unstructured customer interaction data, including new insights into billing, registration, retention, and information-request issues, helping improve churn understanding and operational actions. The engagement also gave Telekom Romania a reusable case study, comprehensive documentation, and a team ready for future analytics projects.
