Si.mobil, a Slovenian telecom provider in a crowded market, needed to cut costs, improve customer retention, and make better handset purchasing decisions. It turned to Presidion’s analytics solution, using IBM SPSS Modeler Server to better understand customer behavior and predict churn and handset choice.
Presidion implemented predictive data modeling to automate analysis and generate frequent insights for Si.mobil. The result was a 10% reduction in churn, saving EUR1.1 million annually, plus up to EUR1 million more per year in reduced hardware investment; targeted offers also kept 5,000 pay-as-you-go customers active and could add about EUR400,000 in annual revenue.
