Rockset adds Apache Superset support in 2 weeks with Preset

Rockset, a real-time indexing database built for the cloud, needed to be integrated as a data source for Apache Superset to enable users to build real-time dashboards. The challenge was that Superset did not natively support connecting to Rockset, requiring a custom integration to be built.

Preset implemented the solution by creating a minimal database engine spec for Rockset and incorporating it into Apache Superset. This allowed users to easily connect their Rockset databases to Superset, pairing Rockset's speed of ingesting and serving data with Superset's speed of crafting charts. The integration made Rockset available as a queryable database option in Preset's hosted Superset product, Preset Cloud, enabling the creation of real-time dashboards.
