Using Starter to securely share stories of U.S. Servicewomen

Military Women’s Memorial needed a way to manage a growing backlog of oral histories and digital assets, make stories of U.S. servicewomen accessible online, and do it all with a small team and limited budget. The organization turned to Preservica Starter Plus to secure and share its collections while meeting donor and funder expectations.

Preservica implemented a custom digital portal integrated with the Memorial’s new website and branding, with organized folders for each servicewoman and metadata linked directly to assets. The result was easier online access for the public and academic institutions, stronger long-term preservation, and new engagement opportunities such as QR codes for exhibits and traveling displays that connect directly to individual stories.
