How PresentationPoint Launched our Local Radio Studio into the 21th Century

Lokaal 7, a volunteer-run radio station in Eindhoven, needed a way to stream its studio online with live visuals, while automatically displaying weather, traffic, and news updates without requiring constant human input. The station turned to PresentationPoint and its PowerPoint add-ons, especially Dynamic Elements, to find a low-cost alternative to traditional digital signage platforms.

Using PresentationPoint’s Dynamic Elements, Lokaal 7 built automated slides in PowerPoint for news, weather, traffic, and program information, then ran them with ShowPoint and broadcast them through streaming software like XSplit. The result was a fully functional digital signage and online studio setup that kept content updated automatically and enabled the station to go live on YouTube with a professional-looking visual experience.
