A Global Beverage Brand Uses Premise in Brazil

Multi-billion Dollar Brand, a global beverage company, needed a better way to audit products in stores across international markets like Brazil. The company struggled to answer basic questions about product freshness, availability, pricing, shelf placement, and whether items were actually being sold where distributors claimed, and it turned to Premise’s retail audit capabilities for help.

Premise used its crowdsourced mobile app and network of local Contributors to collect in-store photos, location data, and expiration dates across Brazil over three months. The project generated 16,683 submissions across 13 regions, revealing that 15% of products on shelves were expired and 5% were missing, with one region accounting for 55% of expired items and 35% of missing products.
