SymphonyRM Produces Breakthrough ML Models by Accelerating R&D with Prefect Cloud

SymphonyRM, a healthcare technology company in Palo Alto, needed to rapidly expand its data science efforts to train machine learning models for production-ready pipelines. To support its HealthOS platform and Next Best Action recommendations, the team turned to Prefect, using Prefect Core and Prefect Cloud to better orchestrate experimentation and model training at scale.

With Prefect, SymphonyRM automated ML workflows, ran parallel experiments on Dask, and centralized monitoring and compliance-friendly execution across its own infrastructure. The result was dramatic: implementation time for ML model training dropped by 99%, experiments that once took 2 days were completed in 30 minutes, and the team was able to run about 350 experiments at one time while accelerating production-ready model development.
