Clearcover Reduces Time-to-Insights by Orchestrating Workflows with Prefect

Clearcover, an auto insurance company based in Chicago, was looking to reduce time-to-insights for its data engineers and analysts as more teams wanted to build and schedule their own workflows. To support this, Clearcover turned to Prefect, using Prefect Core and Prefect Cloud to make orchestration more accessible than its earlier AWS-based setup.

Prefect implemented a centralized, self-service workflow platform that let Clearcover users create, test, and deploy flows quickly with preconfigured templates and custom integrations like FargateAgent and DbtShellTask. The result was faster delivery of data workflows, easier onboarding, and stronger self-service for analysts and ML engineers; Clearcover also said it “saved days over Airflow” and had “definitely gotten the return on our investment.”
