Teleste Oyj, a European market leader in broadband cable network equipment headquartered in Finland with factories in Finland and China, struggled with massive, complex manufacturing data from a rapidly changing product mix. Their legacy systems could not provide online analysis or make sense of extensive test results, leaving R&D and production unable to quickly identify bottlenecks or improve first-pass yield — so Teleste engaged Predisys to address these challenges.

Predisys deployed its Predisys solution (integrated with Microsoft SharePoint) to deliver real-time production tracking, SPC statistics, automated alarms and R&D access to manufacturing data. The result: dramatic improvements in first-pass yield at the Nousiainen plant, measurable ROI (even a 1% first-pass-yield gain paid back the investment), tighter tolerances, shorter cycle times and increased volumes, plus daily/monthly yield analysis and stronger R&D–manufacturing collaboration as Teleste expands Predisys across other factories.
