New app helps Vineyard Vines pursue omnichannel efficiencies

Vineyard Vines, the apparel and lifestyle company, was growing quickly across retail and e-commerce and saw mobile becoming an increasingly important sales channel. With mobile accounting for more than 40 percent of e-commerce visits and mobile sales rising at double-digit rates each year, the company wanted a faster, easier way for customers to browse and buy than its mobile website could provide.

Vineyard Vines worked with PredictSpring to build a native mobile app for iOS and Android that connected to its catalog, order management, CRM and inventory systems. The app included faster search, store locator access, shoppable Instagram content, geofencing alerts, touch ID login and multiple payment options. Vineyard Vines said conversion rates and average order size increased with the app, and PredictSpring said its clients can increase conversions by two to three times.
