Horis Services, the after-sales and maintenance arm of Horis (Illinois Tool Works) in France, was hampered by paper-based workflows—handwritten work orders, mailed reports, long billing lags and tens of thousands of euros in mailing costs. To digitize and automate field operations they selected Praxedo, the cloud-based field service management solution, to replace paper, speed billing and improve technician efficiency.

Praxedo was rolled out to technicians, planners and managers (165 technicians on tablets, fully interfaced with the ERP) and deployed in three months. The Praxedo mobile app and scheduling tools now handle roughly 80,000 work orders a year, enable same-day billing, significantly reduce post-work-order processing time and administrative burden, optimize routes and travel time, eliminate mailing costs and increase productivity—allowing Horis Services to book and bill more work without adding staff.
