PR Agency One worked with YMCA, specifically Central YMCA, a leading UK youth charity, to raise awareness of its brand and better communicate its relevance to young people, parents, teachers, youth workers, and government stakeholders. The organisation wanted to shift perceptions of its purpose in the 21st century while highlighting the support it provides through apprenticeships, training, and other services for young people.
PR Agency One delivered a thought leadership campaign built around the “World of Good” report, based on research with 1,600 young people aged 16–25. The report launch at a Parliamentary reception in the House of Commons was supported by national and sector media outreach, generating 40 online and print articles and coverage in outlets including The Telegraph, Huffington Post, and The Independent. The campaign helped YMCA strengthen existing partnerships, build new ones, and gain further credibility, with the report cited in MPs’ speeches.
