Jefferson County Schools (JCS), a rural district in West Virginia grappling with high Adverse Childhood Experience (ACE) scores amid a regional opioid crisis, needed to overhaul talent and HR processes to support student achievement. The district now identifies top candidates faster using predictive assessments and PDPs, digitized over 1.7 million pages to eliminate filing cabinets, simplified onboarding, enabled real-time performance management, and realized time-savings, stronger staff relationships, better-aligned professional learning, and early signs of improved retention and student outcomes.
