A PowerSchool Case Study
Billings Catholic Schools, a three-campus district serving about 950 students and 101 staff, faced fragmented communication that left families juggling multiple tools and experiencing information overload. Parents wanted a one-stop-shop to view assignments, grades and school messages, and the district needed a way to streamline outreach and boost family engagement.
The district implemented PowerSchool SIS, Schoology, MyPowerHub and SchoolMessenger to consolidate data and communications into a single interface. Families responded positively to the single-login, combined assignments-and-grades view and unified communications; within six months over half of 5th–8th grade families and more than 75% of high school parents were using the system, reducing frustration, support requests and improving school–home engagement.
