A PowerSchool Case Study
Kildeer Countryside Community Consolidated School District 96, a seven-school district in Buffalo Grove, IL serving about 3,100 students, was known as a classroom technology leader but still relied on paper forms and checks for student registration and fee collection. That paper-based process placed heavy administrative burden on school staff and families, so in early 2010 the district committed to moving registration and payments online.
They chose PowerSchool Registration and launched a centralized online system that integrated with the district’s PowerSchool SIS, pre-populated returning-family data, handled PTO/yearbook/event payments, and delivered nightly data transfers and detailed reports. The result was faster, more accurate registration, freed administrative time, high parent and staff satisfaction, reinforced reputation as a technology leader, and the ability to efficiently close out fall registration on schedule.
