Pasadena Independent School District, a large suburban district outside Houston, set out to build and sustain a culture that attracts and retains high-quality staff across roles from teachers to support personnel. To do that they needed a more effective, scalable recruitment process that would help candidates find openings, apply easily, and allow the district to identify the right hires who support their vision of respect, mutual support, and student success.
Pasadena ISD implemented PowerSchool Unified Talent™ Applicant Tracking to streamline applications (single accounts, multi-position applications, and email alerts). After rollout applications surged to more than 81,000, visibility and applicant experience improved, and the district earned recognition as one of the Houston Chronicle’s “Top 150 Workplaces” backed by nearly 5,000 positive employee survey responses — supporting ongoing efforts to recruit and retain top talent.
