A PowerSchool Case Study
Lee County School District, serving 13 schools and about 10,000 students in Sanford, NC, faced a time-consuming, error-prone process for documenting crisis intervention incidents. Paper forms were routed by courier, often lost or out of date, making it difficult to track incidents accurately and produce reliable reports for threat assessment and follow-up.
The district implemented PowerSchool Ecollect Forms (with the Student Interview Plan and Threat Assessment Form) integrated with PowerSchool SIS, working with counselors to streamline and digitize the forms. The new system auto-populates student data, guides interview and response steps, and delivers real-time records to the main office—resulting in faster incident response, improved documentation and tracking, and better threat-assessment reporting that counselors say is simpler and more reliable.
