Kootenai Joint School District Taps PowerSchool SIS to Increase Equitable Instruction and Learning Opportunities for Students

Kootenai Joint School District in Idaho needed a better way to manage districtwide administrative tasks because its previous student information system was outdated and lacked the support and interoperability staff needed. The district turned to PowerSchool and its Unified Operations PowerSchool Student Information System (SIS) to help improve efficiency and support equitable instruction and learning opportunities for students.

PowerSchool implemented PowerSchool SIS as the district’s primary K-12 student information system, giving KJSD one secure, intuitive platform for scheduling, grading, attendance, reporting, and communication. As a result, Kootenai Joint School District improved parent-student-teacher communications, staff collaboration, and reporting, while gaining a more reliable and secure system to support daily operations.
