A PowerSchool Case Study
Challenger School Foundation is a private preK–8 system serving 10,000 students across 27 schools with about 1,200 users, but its operations were constrained by homegrown transactional databases and disconnected flat-file integrations. Data was often inaccessible or out of context, leaving non-technical staff unable to generate actionable insights and preventing analytics from driving instructional or operational decisions.
Challenger implemented PowerSchool Connected Intelligence K‑12 along with Unified Classroom Schoology and Performance Matters to consolidate data into a managed DaaS platform and create a single source of truth with near-real-time integrations. This enabled streamlined reporting and analytics, gave teachers easy access to formative and standardized assessment data, supported research and AI/ML modeling, and improved decision-making, resource allocation, and student outcomes.
