Engaging Learners by Giving Them a Voice

Marysville Exempted Village School District, a 9-school district serving about 5,000 students in Ohio, needed consistent Personalized Learning Plans (PLPs) to engage students and connect stakeholders—but implementation was a patchwork of Google forms, paper binders and inconsistent practices that didn’t travel with the student or inform instruction.

The district built a sustainable PLP system using Ecollect Forms integrated with PowerSchool products, creating age-appropriate, data-friendly forms (radio-button choices, open text, learning-style and habits-of-mind sections) completed early and revisited throughout the year.
