Anne Arundel County Public Schools (AACPS), Maryland’s third-largest district, serves 85,000 students across 125 schools and faced growing edtech challenges: ensuring secure, accurate student data, finding meaningful metrics to identify struggling students, replacing a sunsetted data warehouse, and expanding college-and-career readiness support — all while avoiding extra workload for teachers.

In partnership with PowerSchool, AACPS implemented a suite of integrated solutions — including PowerSchool SIS, Performance Matters, Student Analytics, Naviance CCLR and related modules — to centralize data, add early-warning flags, and create role-based access and real-time dashboards. The result: clean, secure student data across the ecosystem, an intuitive whole-child analytics platform that surfaces actionable insights in two clicks, streamlined operations (replacing manual PDFs), and improved ability to identify and support at‑risk students.
