A PowerSchool Case Study
The American School Foundation A.C. (ASF), a large international school in Mexico City serving over 2,500 students, faced a cumbersome, paper-based admissions process. International families had to download, print, scan and return PDFs while the admissions team manually entered 700–800 applications into three separate systems, causing errors, delays and heavy follow-up work.
In December 2012 ASF implemented PowerSchool Registration’s online application, letting families submit documents online, save progress, meet deadlines and track status. Integrated with the PowerSchool SIS, the solution eliminated duplicate data entry, improved data accuracy and accessibility for interview preparation, reduced inquiry calls, and increased both the quantity and quality of applications to more than 1,000 annually—transforming the admissions office’s efficiency.
