Fayette County Public Schools faced bottlenecks in hiring, onboarding, and employee evaluations across 70 schools and 41,000 students because of outdated HR processes and paperwork. To address these challenges, the district worked with PowerSchool and adopted PowerSchool Talent Solutions, including SmartFind Express, Perform, Records, and Applicant Tracking.
PowerSchool helped Fayette County Public Schools roll out the tools in phases, supported by training and a dedicated HR core team. The results included tenure notifications moving from October/November to August, 100% paperless staff evaluations, and smoother onboarding with timestamped task lists for new hires, improving compliance and reducing administrative overhead.
