A PowerSchool Case Study
Meriden Public Schools, a high-needs district serving 8,700 students across 13 schools, needed a better way to give students, staff, and families access to student data for smarter decision-making. Using PowerSchool SIS, the district worked to overcome limited funding and diverse student needs by creating a single, secure source of truth for academic and support data.
PowerSchool implemented PowerSchool SIS with role-based access, historical data, and key integrations to support data sharing and intervention. The result was a shift from anecdotal to data-driven decision-making, expansion of On-Track Conferences, and stronger student outcomes, including decreased chronic absenteeism and increased GPA. PowerSchool also helped Meriden give families and teachers live access to progress data, saving time and improving support.
