Palatine District’s Path to Data-Driven Instruction and 10-Point NWEA MAP Improvement

Community Consolidated School District 15 (CCSD15) serves a large, diverse student population in Palatine, Illinois, with many English learners and students from low-income households. As the district worked through major organizational changes, it needed a better way to turn scattered spreadsheets and limited dashboards into clear, usable insights that would help educators improve instruction, attendance, behavior, and student outcomes. PowerSchool Student Analytics and PowerSchool SIS were selected to support that shift.

PowerSchool implemented an integrated data platform that brought SIS, assessment, attendance, and behavior information into role-based dashboards for staff across the district. With PowerSchool, CCSD15 launched attendance dashboards ahead of schedule and created a more data-driven culture; kindergarten students improved 10 points on NWEA MAP, and other student groups saw 3% growth in key performance areas.
